SCYPAN Children & Young Peoples Awards 2018
Posted on November 14 2018
The evening began with performances from Timothy Hackworth School Choir and C.A.T.s’ Youth Theatre Group and was very well attended by proud parents, family and friends of those nominated; along with SCYPAN Guests, nominators, nominees and representatives from the Community Safety Group, who kindly sponsored the SCYPAN trophies. The event was also sponsored by Livin, Youth Theatre Variety Show, Councillor Henry Nicholson and Shildon Town Council.
We would extend our thanks to both Derrick Robinson & Josh Railton who provided technical support to the event, keeping the audience and presenters engaged with the proceedings.
The evening was brought to a close by Town Mayor, Councillor Luan Deakin and Mal Carson presenting the ‘Chloe Clark Special Achievement & Recognition Award’, which was won by two young people this year, Harrison Smith & Emily Owen.
We would like to thank all of the nominators for taking time to celebrate the achievements of a local child or young person. Well done to all of the children and young people who were nominated. You are all remarkable and inspirational and congratulations to this year’s winners.
